Consul General Yamada gives his remarks to the participants
Over 400 participants pray for those who passed away at Tule Lake Segregation Center
On July 1st and 2nd, Consul General Jun Yamada joined the 21st Tule Lake Pilgrimage. Consul General attended the memorial service at the camp site on Saturday July 2nd and stated that in California, a home to both the largest Japanese American population as well as the largest number of Japanese expatriates in the world, both can work together, hand in hand, to share and preserve this common memory that holds universal value for all humankind, than here at Tule Lake.
